Our Story

At just 18 years old, I embarked on my first adventure: BesondereHunde Berlin. What started as a local business in the capital quickly gained enthusiastic customers who repeatedly asked me one question: "Can we order your products online too?"

The encouragement and trust of my customers – now over 500 individually catered dogs – gave me the courage for the next big step. This is how Snuband was born: personalized muzzle consultations and custom fittings, now available nationwide in Germany. No more long journeys, no more opening hours – the same quality and passion, conveniently from home.

What began as an 18-year-old's dream is now a heartfelt endeavor that connects dog owners across Germany. Every Snuband product stands for individual consultation, European quality, and genuine love for dogs.

Rachel

Hi, I'm Rahel – founder of Snuband and the face behind every muzzle consultation. With heart, expertise, and a large dose of dog love, I personally take care of every single customer.

My heart beats especially for dogs often labeled as "difficult" or "dangerous." Dogs that don't fit into every box – but are precisely why they are so special. I have already individually advised and cared for over 500 of them.

After graduating from high school, I followed my dream: to work with dogs and be there for them. I am currently training to be a dog trainer at Kynologisch, continuously further my education through seminars, and in 2024, I completed a specialized muzzle workshop with Tina Werner (Dog Around The Block).

My goal: to support every human-dog team in the best possible way – with the right advice, the perfect muzzle, and true understanding.

My little helpers

As a newly founded company, I focus on quality over quantity at Snuband. My loyal companions – my own dogs – are not only my daily helpers, but also my most important product testers.

Manager

Lucy

Over five years ago, Lucy came into my life – and immediately laid down some clear rules. Growling here, snapping there. With a lot of understanding and some insights later, the anxious dog became a self-assured little personality.

Today, Lucy has promoted herself to unofficial HR manager. She monitors break times, ensures relaxation through strategically placed naps, and has an incorruptible sense for who needs a cuddle. Her leadership philosophy? Tough, but fair.

Even if Lucy doesn't actively work – she reminds me daily of what truly matters: patience, trust, and the ability to sometimes let things slide.

Quality management

Silas

My love for dogs that don't fit the mold led me to Silas: A young Rottweiler from the shelter who couldn't be touched and had little prior experience. Working with him—initially only possible with a muzzle—is what got me into this industry in the first place.

Today, Silas is a wonderful companion, even if he occasionally still likes to grumble. His strength and critical eye make him the perfect fit for our quality control. Every incoming order is expertly sniffed, new models are tested for durability—and nothing reaches our customers that doesn't meet Silas's strict standards.

trainee

Cody

Cody came to me as a foster dog – a direct import from abroad who had bitten his family's child. The barely 10-month-old male was angry, fearful, and completely disoriented. But somehow he fit in with us surprisingly well... too well.

After five weeks it was clear: He's staying! A third dog was never planned, but the little guy was simply indispensable.

The supposedly dangerous dog quickly turned into a real cuddly monster. Today, Cody is working hard on his career in social media and sales – after all, he wants to contribute to the business. With his adorable personality, he wins everyone over in no time.
